Less than a week after the end of the Tour de France, the post-Tour classic San Sebastián Klasikoa will take place in Spain (August 2nd) – a race that often attracts some prominent names to the start line. As these stage races wrap up, the final Grand Tour of the year begins: La Vuelta a España 🇪🇸starting with a flat stage before moving into a stage with an uphill finish.

This year, we’ll see Jonas Vingegaard in action as he lines up for the third Vuelta of his career, aiming to take the overall victory for the first time in his career. Tadej Pogačar has also appeared on the provisional start list, but it has recently been announced that he will not be going to the Spainish Grand Tour this year. Instead his 2 strong teammates though João Almeida and Juan Ayuso will lead UAE Team Emirates XRG In the fight for the overall win against Jonas Vingegaard.

Jonas Vingegaard and Mads Pedersen are among the riders who has confirmed that they will be at start of the final Grand Tour of the year. While Tadej Pogacar will focus on regaining his world championship title

In the final week of August, the Vuelta isn’t the only race on the calendar. The men will take on:
