We are already almost halfway through 2025 - time really flies! ✈️ Now we are heading into July, which is one of the most, if not the most, spectacular month on the cycling calendar. It features the Giro d’Italia Women (July 6th –9th ), the Tour de France (July 5th –27th ), and the Tour de France Femmes (July 26th –August 3rd )

Just like July, August is characterized by stage races but also includes a couple of one-day races including the post-Tour classic Donostia San Sebastián Klasikoa, which takes place on August 2 followed by another block of stage races including the Tour de Pologne (August 4–10) and the Tour de Romandie Women (August 15–17). Sprinters will then have a chance to sign the German one-day race, Bemer Cyclassics (August 17), before the more classics-style riders get their chance at the Renewi Tour (August 20–24).
As in July August is also characterized by stage races while also holding a couple one-day races like the post Tour classic Donostia San Sebastian Klasikoa (August 2nd) Before another block of stage races with Tour de Pologne (August 4th-10th) and the womens Tour de Romandie (august 15th-17th) before the sprinters have a chance to shine at the german one day race Bemer cyclassics (august 17th) before Renewi Tour, a stage race favoring the bigger boys begins (20th - 24th).
On August 23, the third and final Grand Tour of the men’s season begins: the Vuelta a España. A race where both Jonas Vingegaard and Tadej Pogačar are expected to take part - though this could still change - meaning we might see another thrilling battle between the two current top GC riders.
The month wraps up with two French one-day races: Classic Lorient Agglomération - Trophée Ceratizit (August 30th ) and Bretagne Classic Ouest-France (August 31st ).
In September, the Simac Ladies Tour (September 2nd –7th ) will unfold will the men´s Vuelta continues. Then come the Canadian WorldTour classics: the Grand Prix Cycliste de Québec (September 12th ) and the Grand Prix Cycliste de Montréal (September 14th ).
Later in the month, many riders will pull on their national jerseys and travel to Rwanda to represent their countries at the hilly World Championships:
• Time Trial – September 21
• Mixed Relay – September 24
• Road Races – September 27 (Women) & 28 (Men)
October brings the final World Tour races of 2025, including the last Monument of the year for the men, Il Lombardia (October 12).
After that, teams will head to China to complete a block of chinese races.
And then the season is over, at least all the world tour races are done and the riders will enjoy a well-deserved off-season before it all kicks of with the Tour down 3 months later.
